Masses or lumps in the neck can be due to infections, inflammation of the salivary glands, benign tumors, thyroid tumors or even head and neck cancer.<\/p>

Evaluation includes history, head and neck examination, and an endoscopic examination with a camera of the upper airway and digestive tract.
